Refuge began as a recording project-a virtual band, sort of. But once they added a drummer and became a 3-piece they inexplicably found themselves playing rock classics in clubs and loving it. Is Refuge a cover band? Yes. Do they record originals? Hell, yeah. Do they mix the two in their shows? Not so much. Are we ambivalent about that? Yes and no. People love to party to the rock n' roll that is the soundtrack of their lives, and Refuge loves to play it. If you want to hear original Refuge music, check out the CD. Please.
